Finance Planning and Controlling Senior Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Planning and Controlling Senior Specialist to lead the planning, reporting and control processes for one or more entities within Haleon. The role ensures accurate financial results, compliance with IFRS and internal controls, and provides insightful analysis to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and report financial results, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, with full commentary.
• Deliver complete and timely IFRS corporate reporting for assigned entities.
• Manage the planning and forecasting process, data collection, consolidation and upload.
• Oversee month‑end review, coordinate meetings, maintain risk registers and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis on operating expenses, margins and profitability, and compare against historical and projected figures.
• Participate in business review meetings and own entity P&L decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal/external control environments and sign‑off statutory results with the Finance Director.
• Support external and internal audits and coordinate tax declarations (VAT, CIT, etc.).

Required profile

• Accounting degree or qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in financial reporting, planning, controlling or audit.
• Hands‑on experience with IFRS and working in a SOX‑controlled environment.
• Proven analytical abilities and strong communication skills.
• Leadership experience and ability to think outside the box.
