Financial Analyst – Controllership & Tax (Bangalore)

About the role

The Controllership Accounting and Statutory Reporting (CASR) team is looking for a Financial Analyst to lead tax compliance activities within its Tax Compliance Centre of Excellence. Based in Bangalore, you will work closely with Controllership, tax consultants and auditors to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide data and analysis for complex direct tax compliance requirements.
• Prepare US GAAP tax provision calculations.
• Coordinate with tax, controllership, and external consultants to file corporate income tax returns.
• Supply information for transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Lead stakeholder reviews and manage audit interactions.
• Mentor junior team members and handle conflict resolution.
• Identify and implement automation and optimisation opportunities.
• Establish controls to validate data accuracy and report progress to management.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4‑7 years of experience in finance, internal audit, accounting or related fields.
• Strong accounting and tax domain knowledge.
• Ability to understand complex systems and meet strict deadlines.
• Effective communicator with strong influencing and teamwork skills.
• Business acumen and willingness to challenge the status‑quo.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA.
