Finance Support Engineer

About the role

Adyen is looking for a Finance Support Engineer to act as the primary liaison for merchants’ finance teams worldwide. You will help resolve finance‑related issues, educate users on our platform, and collaborate with internal product and development teams to improve our financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for merchants and commercial teams on reconciliation, payouts, settlements, and loan status, communicating via email and phone in English.
• Educate and advise merchants’ finance teams on how to maximise value from Adyen’s products and features.
• Collect and analyse merchant pain points and partner with Finance Product and Development teams to enhance or create new solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B customer support experience with exposure to banking, payments or financial products.
• Strong finance and analytical abilities, comfortable with internal accounting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Educational background in Finance, Economics or related work experience.
