Associate Financial Analyst

About the role

AlphaSense is looking for a motivated Associate Financial Analyst to support the annotation and analysis of financial data used to train and evaluate generative AI models. The role sits within a cross‑functional team of software engineers, AI researchers and product managers focused on next‑generation market‑intelligence features.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret earnings calls, SEC and global filings, broker research reports, expert call transcripts, news and regulatory content.
• Evaluate and rank language‑model outputs on comprehensiveness, factual accuracy, coverage and fluency.
• Identify product enhancement opportunities by analysing customer usage patterns of the AlphaSense platform.
• Ensure high‑quality data collection for AI model training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with product managers and AI researchers to define annotation guidelines for Generative AI projects.
• Synthesize information from diverse financial documents to extract key insights and actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification or completion of all three levels of the CFA program.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Project‑management competence, including time‑management and prioritisation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GSuite.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
