Finance Business Partner – Business Controlling

About the role

The Finance Business Partner – Business Controlling provides high‑quality planning, analysis, reporting and controlling support to the business. You will ensure accurate financial insights, robust governance and continuous improvement through standardisation and automation while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end business controlling services, delivering automated, semi‑automated and ad‑hoc reports aligned to business needs.
• Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and baseline reviews with relevant stakeholders.
• Analyse monthly and quarterly MIS, benchmark performance, investigate variances and communicate insights to management.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, charging mechanisms, accruals, corrections and tax‑related compliance.
• Review actual cost performance versus plan, identify deviations and work with local stakeholders on corrective actions.
• Drive the annual operating plan for the engineering and R&D centre and lead budget discussions with local business managers.
• Ensure compliance with transfer‑pricing regulations, internal policies and external regulations.
• Lead continuous process improvements through standardisation, automation and elimination of inefficiencies.
• Validate accuracy and integrity of financial data via reconciliations, reviews and exception handling.
• Oversee financial systems and master‑data governance, including chart of accounts and Business Warehouse tools.
• Prepare management presentations that clearly articulate financial insights and performance drivers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• CA or CMA qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in Business Controlling, Financial/Functional Controlling or R&D Controlling, preferably in a multinational or GCC environment.
• Strong experience in process management, project controlling and performance analysis.
• Exposure to ERP systems and Business Warehouse tools.
