About the role
Assystem, a global engineering and digital services leader, is expanding its finance team in Chennai. The Finance & Accounts Manager / Senior Manager will oversee monthly close activities, manage MIS reporting, and ensure accurate financial statements under IND‑AS. The role also involves close collaboration with auditors for statutory, tax and internal control audits.
Key responsibilities
- Lead monthly closing of accounts, including depreciation, prepaid expenses and expense provisioning.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports for project expenses and operational data.
- Compile financial statements in accordance with IND‑AS guidelines.
- Liaise with auditors to finalize statutory, tax and ICFR audit requirements.
Required profile
- Chartered Accountant with 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in a project‑based environment.
- Solid knowledge of IGAAP and IND‑AS accounting standards.
