Field Executive – Cracker – VMD

About the role

The Field Executive will ensure smooth and safe operation of the cracker plant by performing day‑to‑day equipment monitoring, maintenance coordination, and safety management. The role supports production targets while adhering to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily operations following all relevant policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Identify equipment health using LLF (Look, Listen, Feel) techniques and report performance issues.
• Monitor field equipment, perform gas testing (LEL, O₂) with portable instruments, and maintain HSE‑related equipment.
• Support shift superintendent in tracking process parameters and coordinating with maintenance for timely issue resolution.
• Execute handover/takeover of equipment following PTW/LOTO procedures.
• Collect field samples for laboratory testing and record shift logs.
• Manage inventory of logs, spares, and consumables; ensure proper housekeeping and hazardous waste segregation.
• Act as first responder to emergencies and participate in the Auxiliary Fire Squad.
• Assist in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety documentation.

Required profile

• Knowledge of rotary machine seal systems and their level/pressure controls.
• Understanding of compressor lubrication systems, temperature, pressure, and flow parameters.
• Familiarity with LO/LC valve status and field instrument locations.
• Ability to follow strict safety and operational procedures.
