Production Manager – Transformers Radiator

About the role

The Production Manager is responsible for overall production output, cost control and commercial efficiency across the Radiator, Nano‑Crystalline Core and CRGO Core divisions. Reporting to the Director, the role sets production targets, allocates resources and oversees quality, safety and continuous‑improvement initiatives while acting as the escalation point for unresolved shop‑floor issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly and monthly production plans for all three divisions based on orders and forecasts.
• Monitor and report material, conversion, wastage and labour costs, and own the commercial impact of production decisions.
• Allocate operators, supervisors and engineers, approve staffing, shift planning and overtime, and ensure attendance and skill development.
• Set and approve quality standards, review rejection and rework rates, direct root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive cost‑reduction and productivity initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen and 5S across divisions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Quality and Maintenance to secure material availability and equipment uptime.
• Conduct cross‑divisional review meetings to align priorities and maintain safety and labour‑relation discipline.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing production operations in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to plan, allocate resources and oversee multiple product lines simultaneously.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a track record of removing obstacles and handling escalations.
• Leadership experience supervising engineers, supervisors and shop‑floor staff.
• Familiarity with OEE measurement, cost control and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
