Female Receptionist – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

The Hotel Receptionist is a full‑time, on‑site position in Jaipur, responsible for delivering friendly and efficient front‑desk service to all guests. You will manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, handle reservations and room assignments, and respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily check‑in and check‑out processes and maintain accurate guest records.
• Handle reservations, room allocations, and process payments.
• Respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via email, providing local information and resolving concerns.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep the lobby and reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe, professional environment.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service abilities with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
• Proficiency in standard receptionist duties, including check‑in/check‑out and guest record management.
• Effective phone etiquette and clear communication skills in English; additional local languages are a plus.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with hotel management or reservation software.
• Ability to stay organized, multitask, and handle busy periods calmly and accurately.
• Prior front‑desk or hospitality experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays with a reliable, punctual work ethic.
