Executive Trainee

About the role

The Executive Trainee will join the Container Terminal (CT) Operations team of Adani Group, a leading logistics and infrastructure company in India. The role focuses on ensuring efficient, safe, and timely handling of container movements, loading and unloading activities, and supporting overall terminal productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shift handovers, ensuring clear communication and no delays.
• Notify supervisors of equipment shortages or potential delays.
• Allocate Rubber‑Tyred Gantry (RTG) units to specific yard zones for optimal utilization.
• Supervise truck and container loading/unloading to meet schedule and positioning accuracy.
• Coordinate container transfers between the yard and rail, recording wagon numbers accurately.
• Follow load/discharge plans, maintaining correct yard positions.
• Enforce safety norms and operational guidelines to prevent accidents.
• Address operational issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
• Promote a digital mindset, leveraging AI and digital tools to enhance efficiency.
