Officer – MTP & OE (Inventory & Operations)

About the role

The Officer – MTP & OE will manage inventory levels, oversee procurement processes, and ensure uninterrupted operation and maintenance (O&M) activities for Adani Power Limited. The role also includes financial oversight such as budget preparation, asset verification, and expenditure tracking to align with the company’s financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Execute inventory planning to meet overhauling requirements, ensuring timely procurement within budget.
• Monitor running inventory for continuous operations and manage high‑value capitalized items.
• Identify and dispose of obsolete inventory in coordination with O&M.
• Perform financial asset verification and maintain accurate asset records.
• Initiate Notes for Approvals (NFA) and act as internal finance controller for departmental approvals.
• Prepare Service Entry Sheets and supervise the PR/PO process, ensuring timely delivery of items.
• Track non‑moving inventory, prepare quarterly provisions, and coordinate transfers between plants.
• Conduct weekly vital‑item availability checks to support rapid response to breakdowns.
