Team Member - Imports

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Import Team Member to manage end‑to‑end shipment documentation, coordinate transport from port to plant, and ensure compliance with customs regulations. The role plays a critical part in optimizing import costs and minimizing clearance delays.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a systematic storage of shipment documents and ensure accurate filing.
• Arrange transport from the port to the plant, obtain quotes and generate e‑way bills.
• Maximize utilization of advance licenses, IGCR and EPCG schemes to achieve at least 90% cost efficiency.
• Generate Duty Payment Requests, coordinate with finance for duty planning and manage advance payments to Customs House Agents.
• Ensure zero defects in Bill of Entry submissions and timely duty payments.
• Implement strategies to keep penalties below 0.5% of material value.
• File advance BOE to achieve clearance within 7 days for sea shipments and 3 days for air shipments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in import logistics or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing import operations and compliance.
