Executive / Senior Executive – ExIm (Planning & Coordination)

About the role

We are looking for an Executive / Senior Executive to lead planning and coordination of international shipments for our Dholera project. The role ensures tools, spares, bulk materials and capital equipment reach the site on schedule, within cost targets and fully compliant with Indian customs and L&T standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a Master Shipment Plan linked to procurement milestones and site needs.
• Book carrier slots, optimise routes and modes (air, sea, charter) based on total cost of ownership and risk.
• Issue shipping instructions, verify packing details, confirm Incoterms® 2020 and insurance coverage, and provide pre‑alerts for visibility.
• Drive early compliance planning: HS classification, SCOMET screening, EPCG/Project Import eligibility, and required permits.
• Reserve CFS/port slots, coordinate with CHAs, and manage special handling for oversized or heavy‑lift cargo.
• Maintain a shipment risk register and proactively mitigate demurrage, detention and other cost exposures.
• Track shipments in SAP MM/GTS (or equivalent) and Power BI, publish weekly OTIF dashboards and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Graduate in Engineering, Logistics or Commerce; PGD in Supply Chain or International Trade preferred.
• Proven experience in project logistics, customs compliance and international freight coordination.
• Strong coordination, escalation and vendor management capabilities.
