Executive – Sales Commercial (Warehouse & Customer Service)

About the role

The Executive – Sales Commercial will provide backend support to the sales function by ensuring timely delivery of materials to customers, managing warehouse operations, and enforcing established systems and procedures. This role is critical for achieving overall business objectives through efficient service and logistics management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor order cycle time and ensure material delivery to dealers and project sites meets defined benchmarks.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to identify and resolve material service issues.
• Support Home Improvement business with material storage and delivery.
• Manage warehouse productivity, conduct stock verification, and control stock variances.
• Maintain documentation and legal agreements related to warehouse operations.
• Implement Transport Management System to improve route planning and customer service.
• Assess and propose infrastructure CAPEX projects for warehouses and sales offices.
• Assist regional commercial team with overhead budget proposals and monitor freight cost per ton.
• Process vendor payments, ensure timely closures, and coordinate quarterly reconciliations.
• Track statutory licenses, update compliance portals, and support audits (ISO, 5S, internal).
• Conduct safety audits and ensure a safe working environment.
• Prepare and circulate monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in any stream (BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, BBM, BMS) with minimum 50% marks and no backlogs.
• Degree obtained through a full‑time program.
