Estate Manager - MD House, Raipur

About the role

An estate manager oversees the daily operations, maintenance, security, staff and budgets of luxury private residences, large farms or gated residential communities, acting as the main link between property owners, household staff, contractors and service providers. This position is advertised for Raipur, Chhattisgarh, with one opening.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, grounds and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems and manage preventive maintenance schedules
• Hire, train, schedule and supervise domestic workers, groundskeepers, security guards and maintenance teams
• Oversee estate operating budgets, track expenses, negotiate vendor contracts and reconcile invoices
• Implement safety protocols, monitor surveillance systems, handle emergencies and ensure statutory compliance
• Plan private gatherings, manage guest services, coordinate travel and maintain household inventories

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical or metallurgical engineering
• 10 to 15 years of experience
• Typically 3 to 10+ years in estate management, luxury hospitality, facility management or real estate operations

Required skills

• Strong leadership, vendor negotiation, problem-solving and financial literacy
• Discretion with confidential information
• Experience with property management software, MS Office or Google Workspace
