Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

MicroMitti, India's first co-investment PropTech platform founded in 2024 and headquartered in Indore, is looking for a Chief Operating Officer. The COO turns strategy into disciplined day-to-day execution and builds the systems that let the company scale without losing control, enabling the founder to step back from daily operations. The role reports to the Founder & CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the CEO's strategy into roadmaps with quarterly milestones and clear owners, and run weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews with tracked action closure.
• Enforce SOP compliance and governance frameworks across departments, making accountability the default.
• Ensure all departments report from the same numbers and own cross-functional MIS quality so leadership decisions rest on reliable data.
• Partner with Finance to align cost-to-output, monitor performance metrics and drive corrective action on efficiency and profitability.
• Remove execution bottlenecks and build scalable systems ahead of growth.
• Lead and align operational teams across Sales, Pre-Sales, Construction, Finance, HR and Legal, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Maintain governance, compliance and audit readiness, and drive PropTech-enabled digital transformation (ERP, CRM).

Required profile

• MBA or equivalent; background in Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• 12-18 years in senior operational leadership, ideally in PropTech, Real Estate, Infrastructure or BFSI.
• Proven track record of institutionalizing a fast-growing, founder-led company by building systems, reporting and governance from an early stage.
• Hands-on operator able to set strategy and enforce execution.
