About the role

The Materials Planning Specialist will manage the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process to guarantee continuous availability of raw materials for manufacturing, transfers, validations and development projects. The role focuses on minimizing obsolescence, over‑stock and waste while supporting the company’s commitment to health and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute MRP plans, generating purchase requisitions within the replenishment window.
• Ensure timely supply of materials for production schedules and plant needs.
• Analyze inventory levels to mitigate expiry risk, reduce obsolescence and limit waste.
• Maintain accurate input data, parameters and catalog information in the internal control system to support MRP compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning, MPS execution and inventory level determination.
• Industrial Engineering degree or related field; MBA or master’s in engineering/supply chain is a plus.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is desirable.
• Familiarity with S&OP, demand planning, purchasing and production scheduling.

Required skills

• ERP systems – preferably SAP ECC and SAP IBP.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros).
• Power BI for data processing (desirable).
• Practical knowledge of MRP and MPS methodologies.
