English Teacher & Storyteller (Onsite, Pondicherry)

About the role

We are looking for full‑time English Teachers cum Storytellers to deliver story‑based classroom sessions in partner schools across Pondicherry. You will use our curriculum, app, and journal activities to create engaging, joyful learning experiences for primary‑grade children.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 4‑5 Story Buddy sessions daily for primary grades, blending storytelling, classroom activities, group games, and creative expression.
• Facilitate end‑to‑end classroom experiences, including homework follow‑up and student engagement tracking.
• Track participation and progress while supporting classroom management.
• Collaborate with training and curriculum teams for weekly planning.
• Build relationships with parents and school coordinators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or Child Development.
• 1–2 years of classroom or activity‑based teaching experience.
• Confident English speaker with clear communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Tamil to connect with students.
• Passionate about stories, teaching, and child engagement.
• Willing to relocate to Pondicherry if not already based there.
• Open to learning and receiving feedback.
