English Language Specialist – AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an English language expert to help shape the next generation of AI language models. You will work remotely, interacting directly with advanced models to improve their understanding of English grammar, syntax, semantics, and cultural nuance.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with AI models on a variety of language scenarios, testing sentence structure, verb tense, idiomatic usage, pronunciation, and cultural context.
• Document model failures and error patterns to inform model hardening.
• Validate factual accuracy and logical consistency of model outputs.
• Provide feedback for prompt engineering and evaluation metric refinement.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in English language, linguistics, or a closely related field.
• Evidence of scholarly work such as peer‑reviewed publications, teaching experience, or linguistic analysis projects.
• Strong metacognitive communication skills, able to “show your work” clearly.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of English grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics.
• Experience evaluating and annotating language data for AI training.
