Engineering Director

About the role

The Engineering Director leads our engineering teams, shaping both strategy and day‑to‑day execution. You will create an environment where development teams deliver high‑quality features while meeting security, maintainability and reliability expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the engineering vision, strategy, policies and processes.
• Hire, mentor and manage engineering managers, fostering talent development.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers and Recruiters on capacity planning and recruitment forecasting.
• Partner with the Academy to design training catalogs and learning plans.
• Ensure teams address non‑functional requirements such as security, maintainability and reliability.
• Identify and resolve anti‑patterns or dysfunctions that hinder performance.
• Drive exploration and adoption of innovative technologies to improve the platform and developer experience.
• Support Business Development Centers and facilitate continuous evolution across development teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset capable of solving complex problems.
• Action‑oriented with up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends.
