Engineer – Plant & Machinery

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Engineer – Plant & Machinery to join our operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all plant and construction equipment is inspected, commissioned, and maintained to meet site requirements and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and commission equipment according to site specifications.
• Plan, schedule, and execute periodic and corrective maintenance activities.
• Prepare and manage maintenance activity lists, ensuring timely completion.
• Plan and control spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with equipment users to guarantee smooth operation.
• Follow all safety procedures during plant and machinery operations.
• Document and implement maintenance check‑lists for all equipment.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (minimum 3 years experience) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (minimum 5 years experience).
• Proven experience in operations and maintenance of construction equipment.
• Background in large construction/contracting firms, preferably within oil & gas or heavy industry sectors.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of equipment maintenance and spare‑parts management.
• Ability to manage manpower for equipment operation and maintenance.
• Understanding of safety and quality policies.
• Experience with maintenance scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
