Electrical Technician – Power Distribution & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our operations team. The role involves installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of power distribution and utility equipment across industrial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, erect and commission transformers, HT & LT panels, RMU, synchronization and APFC panels.
• Perform cable laying, glanding, termination and panel wiring for new and retrofit projects.
• Maintain and service DG sets, AHUs, chillers, heaters, exhaust fans and other utility equipment.
• Carry out preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance on electrical assets.
• Conduct electrical testing including insulation resistance, earth resistance and continuity checks.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in power distribution, control circuits, motors and protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO and all electrical safety procedures.

Required profile

• ITI Electrician qualification or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven hands‑on experience with transformers, HT/LT panels, RMU and synchronization equipment.
• Solid background in cable installation, glanding and termination.
• Experience maintaining DG operations, HVAC (AHU, chillers, heaters) and utility plant.
• Familiarity with electrical testing methods and safety protocols.
