Embedded Hardware & Power Electronics Engineer (Women Only)

About the role

This position focuses exclusively on hardware design and testing for power electronics and embedded electronic systems. The engineer will lead microcontroller selection, signal‑conditioning design, power‑stage development, prototyping, validation, and compliance testing for cutting‑edge products.

Key responsibilities

• Select microcontrollers based on application needs, I/O count, ADC resolution, communication interfaces, power consumption and lifecycle availability.
• Design and validate signal‑conditioning circuits, protection and isolation blocks, and power‑stage converters (buck, boost, flyback, AC‑DC).
• Develop motor‑drive hardware including gate drivers, current/voltage sensing, and protection circuits.
• Create schematics and multilayer PCB layouts with proper creepage, clearance, impedance control and thermal design.
• Perform bench bring‑up, functional and parametric testing using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, spectrum analyzers, LCR meters and thermal cameras.
• Prepare documentation such as schematics, BOMs, test reports and support manufacturing with test jigs and failure‑analysis.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in EEE/ECE (M.E./M.Tech a plus) with 4‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on experience in power electronics, MOSFET/driver design, fault diagnostics and motor‑control drivers (PWM).
• Proficiency with LTspice, Matlab, Simulink for schematic and signal analysis.
• Experience designing DC‑DC (boost/buck) and AC‑DC converters, and knowledge of magnetics and protection circuits.
• Strong lab debugging skills, familiarity with HV/LV bench testing and EMI/EMC design practices.
• Good knowledge of PCB layout, board‑level design and relevant safety standards.
