Electrical Technician

About the role

Givaudan is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the electrical activities, repairs and troubleshooting of production systems, utility equipment and infrastructure at its Pune, Ranjagaon site. The role focuses on maintaining high safety standards, ensuring equipment availability and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on production lines, utility equipment and plant infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements and Givaudan’s internal safety standards.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, spare‑part inventories and maintenance records.
• Execute maintenance work orders, manage their lifecycle and apply root‑cause analysis tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support day‑to‑day operations and improvement projects.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams.
• Proven background in operation and maintenance of electrical switchgear.
• Experience working in a hygienic production environment (food, chemical or pharma) is preferred.
• Ability to mechanically dismantle large motors, replace bearings and install/alignment equipment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, 5S and continuous improvement.
