Electrical Technician – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team and support a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. The role involves working on high‑voltage and low‑voltage systems, power distribution equipment, and utility plant across various industrial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical erection, installation, and commissioning of transformers, HT & LT panels, RMU, synchronization and APFC panels.
• Carry out cable laying, tray installation, glanding, termination, and panel wiring.
• Execute preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance on DG sets, power distribution systems, AHU, chillers, heaters and other utility equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in control circuits, motors, panels and distribution networks.
• Conduct electrical testing such as insulation resistance, earth resistance and continuity checks.
• Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, PPE and all electrical safety procedures.

Required profile

• ITI Electrician certification or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, erection, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience with transformers, HT/LT panels, RMU, synchronization, APFC panels, MCCs and DG systems.
• Ability to perform preventive, breakdown and routine inspections of electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical testing methods and safety compliance procedures.
