Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety and optimal performance of electrical equipment within an industrial plant. The role involves executing scheduled and emergency maintenance, supporting projects, managing spare‑part inventory and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly electrical maintenance plans in coordination with plant maintenance teams.
• Perform corrective, predictive and preventive maintenance on all plant electrical systems and components.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions and contribute to a 5‑year obsolescence plan.
• Manage inventory of electrical spare parts, including identification, inspection and standardisation of critical spares.
• Support project activities, including MOC (Management of Change) and CAPEX implementation.
• Carry out task‑based risk assessments, obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with HSEF standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, test procedures and documentation.
• Participate in budgeting and cost control for electrical maintenance activities.
