e-Axle Thermal Management Systems Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop thermal management components for e‑axle systems. You will work on electric oil pumps, filtration systems, and heat exchangers, ensuring they meet performance and reliability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop e‑axle thermal management components, including pumps, filters and heat exchangers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications and DFMEA for the system.
• Produce detailed 2D and 3D models using UG‑Nx.
• Draft mechanical architecture based on customer requirements and internal standards.
• Collaborate with design, electrical, software and manufacturing teams for seamless integration.
• Develop verification plans and test methods to validate performance.
• Manage supplier relationships, project timelines and cost targets.
• Prepare design guidelines, standards and stakeholder communications.
• Evaluate component changes, conduct DRBFM and FMEA, and handle change processes (CCB/ECM).

Required profile

• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of experience in automotive thermal/hydraulic component design.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, heat exchangers, filters and related phenomena.
• Experience with requirement definition and interpretation.
• Basic proficiency in UG‑Nx and ability to read 2D drawings.
• Willingness to learn e‑axle cooling and lubrication methods.
• Good understanding of relevant materials, norms and test procedures.
