DMA Dealer – Institutional Broking & Trading

About the role

The DMA Dealer will execute institutional client orders through Direct Market Access platforms, ensuring fast, accurate and compliant trade execution. You will work closely with risk, compliance, research and sales teams to support high‑value and algorithmic trading strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute institutional client orders via DMA platforms, handling high‑value and bulk trades with precision.
• Monitor and manage algorithmic and institutional trading activities in line with market conditions and predefined strategies.
• Maintain strict compliance with exchange regulations, internal policies and risk frameworks.
• Perform real‑time and post‑trade surveillance to detect irregularities or compliance breaches.
• Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to investigate flagged trades and ensure proper documentation.
• Support the development and execution of trading strategies together with Research and Institutional Sales.
• Handle large and complex orders while minimizing market impact and enhancing execution quality.
• Engage with institutional clients to understand their trading needs and provide execution support.
• Monitor market trends, liquidity and volatility to optimise execution decisions.
• Ensure accurate post‑trade activities including confirmation, reconciliation and reporting.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in institutional broking, DMA dealing or algorithmic trading.
• Strong understanding of equity markets, trading lifecycle and execution platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards and trade surveillance practices.
• Proven ability to manage large‑value and bulk orders for institutional clients.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and risk awareness.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
