DLP Senior Security Analyst

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is building an enterprise‑grade Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program powered by Microsoft Purview and a robust data classification framework. As a DLP Senior Security Analyst you will bridge governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) requirements with technical implementation, ensuring sensitive data is protected across the company’s global M365 and cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer and optimize DLP platforms across cloud, endpoint, email and network environments.
• Configure and maintain DLP policies in Microsoft Purview for Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and endpoint devices.
• Develop classifiers, fingerprinting and detection rules for structured and unstructured data.
• Analyze policy impact before deployment and align controls with enterprise data classification standards.
• Partner with GRC, Legal and business units to translate GDPR, CCPA and PCI‑DSS requirements into enforceable DLP controls.
• Participate in audits, provide technical evidence, and support regulatory compliance.
• Build monitoring dashboards using Purview Activity Explorer and Power BI, and respond to DLP alerts.
• Automate processes with PowerShell or Python to reduce false positives and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with deep experience in Microsoft Purview DLP.
• Strong foundation in GRC and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, PCI‑DSS).
• Hands‑on analytical mindset capable of translating compliance into technical controls.
