Engineer II, Systems Reliability Engineering

About the role

As an Engineer II in Systems Reliability Engineering within the Digital Planning & Foundations organization, you will ensure the reliability, availability, performance, security, and operational excellence of planning, allocation, forecasting, inventory and supply‑chain technology platforms. You will collaborate with product, engineering, business, cloud, security, SAP and external technology teams while driving automation, observability, DevSecOps and AI‑enabled operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of production incidents, application failures, integration issues and service degradation events.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, APIs and cloud‑native technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Build and maintain observability capabilities, including dashboards, alerting, service health monitoring, SLIs, SLOs and reliability metrics.
• Support Azure services, enterprise integrations, Power Platform, Fabric, OneLake and analytics capabilities that enable planning and allocation processes.
• Drive AI‑enabled operations through intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, self‑healing workflows, operational copilots and agentic automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Support, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Operations or Enterprise Application Support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on experience supporting enterprise applications hosted on Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong automation and scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, SQL and modern observability tools.
• Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Infrastructure as Code and exposure to AIOps, Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric or related technologies.
