Director / Senior Director – Category (Gold Loan Product)

About the role

Rupeek is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Director / Senior Director to own its gold loan product category. You will shape product strategy, drive growth initiatives, and enhance the end‑to‑end customer experience across India.

Key responsibilities

• Own the gold loan category P&L, customer journey, funnel optimization and product innovation.
• Identify growth opportunities, develop business plans and execute go‑to‑market strategies for new offerings or regions.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to surface trends, assess performance and recommend actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) to track KPIs and present insights to senior leadership.
• Lead cross‑functional programmes with product, technology, operations, risk and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Conduct market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, customer research and regulatory analysis.
• Map the user journey, identify friction points and propose customer‑centric improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment across functions.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in product management, category management or program management, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Proven track record of driving product strategy and delivering measurable business results.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
