Director & Professor – School of Media Management

About the role

The School of Media Management seeks a senior academic leader who will serve as Director and hold a professorial appointment (Director cum Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor). The role combines strategic leadership, curriculum design, research oversight and high‑quality teaching in digital marketing and media management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and academic leadership to drive growth and excellence of the school.
• Lead curriculum development, programme design and industry‑oriented experiential learning.
• Oversee research activities, publications, consultancy projects and funded initiatives.
• Build and maintain partnerships with digital agencies, media organisations, technology firms and industry bodies.
• Manage academic administration, faculty development, accreditation and quality assurance.
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in digital marketing, SEO, SEM, PPC, web analytics and social media marketing.
• Mentor students, supervise dissertations, internships and industry‑based projects.
• Support student placement, industry engagement and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Management with a postgraduate qualification in Marketing Management, Digital Marketing or Media Management.
• Minimum 15 years of combined academic, industry collaboration, consultancy or administration experience.
• At least 5 years of university‑level teaching experience.
• Proven exposure to the digital marketing industry is desirable.
