Director of Training

About the role

The Director of Training will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of all training initiatives across the property, ensuring they align with the company’s mission, vision, and values. This role partners with property leadership to identify development needs and drives a culture of continuous learning and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and promote employee training programs, covering product knowledge, company philosophy, customer service, and leadership.
• Conduct needs assessments, design curricula, and facilitate both custom and corporate training sessions.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance, and participant progress; evaluate training effectiveness using metrics such as guest satisfaction and performance data.
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff and managers based on observed service behaviors.
• Develop training plans and budgets that are strategically linked to organizational goals.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with at least 2 years of HR or training experience, **or** a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with a certified trainer credential (no experience required).
• Demonstrated ability to lead hospitality‑focused training initiatives and foster guest‑centric service culture.
