Director of Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to shape Zeno’s sourcing and supply‑chain strategy for electric two‑wheelers, batteries, swap stations and fast chargers. Reporting to senior management, the Director will drive end‑to‑end planning, procurement and production support across a fast‑growing, global operation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a supply‑chain strategy aligned with Zeno’s growth plans for motorcycles, batteries, swap stations and fast chargers.
• Build scalable processes that balance cost, quality, lead time and risk.
• Own sourcing activities, establish and maintain partnerships with local and global suppliers, negotiate contracts and drive cost optimisation.
• Implement supplier performance metrics and continuous‑improvement programmes.
• Oversee inventory planning for raw materials, sub‑assemblies and finished goods to minimise working capital.
• Design demand‑forecasting models to support production and swap‑station needs.
• Ensure production is not blocked by material shortages and support engineering and production teams on product launches.
• Identify supply‑chain risks (geopolitical, regulatory, logistical) and develop mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with local regulations and sustainability standards.
• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing supply‑chain team and collaborate with cross‑functional leaders.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in strategic sourcing, procurement and supply‑chain management, preferably in automotive or electric‑mobility.
• Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, finance and service teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on risk mitigation.
