Director of Solutions Architecture – India/ASEAN

About the role

ClickHouse is expanding its cloud‑first offering and needs a senior leader to build and scale the Solutions Architecture function across India and the ASEAN region. The Director will guide a growing team, work closely with customers and partners, and help position ClickHouse Cloud for enterprise adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and expand the India & ASEAN Solutions Architecture team, establishing technical standards and a customer‑first culture.
• Partner with Sales, Product and Engineering leadership to drive outcomes for enterprise and commercial customers.
• Act as senior technical advisor, translating business and technical requirements into scalable, cloud‑native solution designs, migrations and data visualisation.
• Oversee high‑impact proofs of concept and reference architectures that accelerate adoption.
• Evangelise ClickHouse’s vision across the APJ market through executive briefings, events and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering or similar customer‑facing technical leadership role, with people‑management experience.
• Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on technical engagement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience thriving in fast‑growing, high‑change environments and building teams from early stages.

Required skills

• Open‑source software business models and cloud‑first technologies.
• Designing and supporting scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Database technologies, data modelling and analytical workloads.
