Director of Product Management – Payments

About the role

As the Director of Product Management for Payments at RealPage, you will shape the vision and strategy for the Payments product portfolio, driving innovation and delivering customer value. Reporting to the Vice President of Payments Product, you will lead a high‑performing team of Product Managers and act as a thought leader in the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a large team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Own strategic product areas within the Payments portfolio, setting direction and delivering outcomes aligned with quarterly and annual roadmaps.
• Define and track key financial metrics, manage product‑level budgets and ensure ROI targets are met.
• Develop and execute product lifecycle strategies, including go‑to‑market, migration, transformation and sunset planning.
• Drive market readiness and enablement, partnering with design and enablement teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
• Engage with customers, lead discovery initiatives and translate feedback into actionable product strategies.
• Represent RealPage at industry conferences, providing thought leadership and market perspective.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of domain experience in payments or related industry, with a strong product management background.
• 8–10 years of experience leading product teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven ability to define and execute product vision and strategy at scale.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and assessing product ROI.
• Exceptional leadership, mentoring and executive communication skills.
