Director of Operations – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Director of Operations will lead the day‑to‑day performance of Fairmont Agra, a luxury hotel within the Accor portfolio. Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure that all operational areas deliver the brand’s high standards of service and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in achieving property‑specific objectives and financial targets.
• Provide strategic direction and supervision for Food & Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping departments.
• Align catering and sales strategies with operational execution to drive revenue.
• Champion guest‑centric and innovative service approaches to maintain high satisfaction scores.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure consistent quality of products and services that meet brand expectations.
• Act as an Accor ambassador, enhancing the hotel’s image and reputation.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of progressive experience in luxury hotel operations, including 2‑3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of pre‑opening or turnaround projects is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and public‑relations abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on operational efficiencies and network synergies.
