Director of Finance – Hotel

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead all financial operations for Conrad Bengaluru, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic alignment with the hotel’s goals. You will act as the primary financial advisor to senior leadership, driving profitability while upholding the hospitality spirit.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the hotel’s financial strategy, aligning budgets, forecasts and capital plans with business objectives.
• Oversee preparation of annual plans, projections and budgets, providing actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Advise hotel leadership, ownership and department heads with data‑driven recommendations to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, statutory regulations and internal controls, safeguarding assets.
• Manage financial reporting systems to deliver accurate, transparent and timely reports.
• Authorize and monitor all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payroll and expenses.
• Build and retain a high‑performing finance team through performance management and development programs.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hotel finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel systems such as OnQ, Check SCM, SUN, OPERA/OnQ PMS, MICROS and HRLINK.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls and reporting standards.
