About the role
The Director of Events (Sales & Planning) will lead the Events division at Hyatt Regency Dehradun, ensuring alignment with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand standards while delivering exceptional experiences for guests, employees, and owners.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the efficient operation of the Events department, including catering sales and convention services.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive event bookings and maximize revenue.
- Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of events and conventions.
- Maintain brand standards and quality control across all event-related activities.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Required profile
- University degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Director of Catering or Convention Services in a large hotel operation.
- Strong operational, administrative and interpersonal abilities.
