Director of Engineering

About the role

As Director of Engineering at Blink Health you will lead the teams that own the platforms and services powering the company’s specialty medication business. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality products that make prescription purchasing easy, while scaling the platform to support rapid hyper‑growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to build and scale the platform that transforms the prescription supply chain.
• Define and drive the long‑term roadmap, overseeing multiple full‑stack teams delivering Blink’s specialty medication services.
• Recruit, mentor and develop high‑performing engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Promote AI‑native practices and technology adoption across the engineering organization.

Required profile

• 15+ years of engineering experience with a proven track record of building and leading high‑performance teams.
• Experience managing large‑scale systems in rapid‑growth environments, preferably in healthcare or related domains.
• Strong collaboration skills with product, marketing, business and operations teams.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent; MS/PhD preferred.

Required skills

• Python, Django/Flask, React/Redux.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other public cloud platforms.
• Microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines.
• SQL databases (MySQL, Aurora) and data warehouses (Redshift).
• Linux system administration.
