About the role

Visa is seeking a Director to lead the Strategy & Business Operations function for its Risk and Security Solutions (RAS) business within the Value‑Added Services division. The role will shape governance, risk, product and commercial frameworks to drive revenue growth and ensure robust, automated controls across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain risk and governance processes for RAS, including internal audit coordination, risk assessments, issue tracking and mitigation planning.
• Lead product lifecycle management (PLM) activities, ensuring alignment with governance standards and timely reporting.
• Drive automation initiatives that embed safe, trusted controls, leveraging Generative AI and the Visa Agentic Toolchain (VATC) within AI‑native product development.
• Conduct periodic Risk and Control Self‑Assessments (RCSA) and maintain a prioritized view of inherent and residual risks.
• Design, develop and monitor key business metrics to support commercial execution and revenue planning.
• Collaborate with RAS leadership, the Global Head of Strategy and Business Optimization, and the COO to align strategy with market opportunities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading risk, governance or compliance functions in a large, technology‑driven organization.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to translate complex risk concepts into actionable business plans.
