Director - Finance Control & Risk Management

About the role

Mobile Creches is seeking a senior finance leader to serve as Director of Finance Control & Risk Management. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role will safeguard financial integrity, ensure regulatory compliance, and build robust internal control and risk frameworks as the organization expands across India.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the strategic deputy to the CFO on finance governance, controls, and business planning.
• Lead financial controllership including accounting, month‑end close, reconciliations, management and statutory reporting.
• Develop and maintain risk management systems, audit readiness, and compliance processes.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity visibility and cash‑flow management.
• Represent finance in senior leadership and governance forums, providing insights on funding, cash flows and project expenses.
• Drive technology‑enabled finance processes and strengthen internal controls to support compliant growth.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior finance roles, preferably within non‑profit or development sectors.
• Proven track record in financial controllership, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with experience influencing senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.
