Digital Solution Designer – SAP PP/PI (Hyderabad)

About the role

Join a diverse global team at BASF to design and implement digital solutions for manufacturing operations. You will work on complex IT projects, focusing on SAP PP and PP/PI modules, and support the full product lifecycle across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with global colleagues on manufacturing IT projects and deliver critical solutions.
• Consult, implement, and support SAP PP & PP/PI solutions worldwide.
• Lead manufacturing workstreams, handling tasks from requirement engineering to post‑go‑live support.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs, configurations, and master‑data setups.
• Identify and drive improvements, advise management, and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Several years of IT consulting experience in production environments, preferably chemical or processing industry.
• Strong customer focus and ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex business requirements.

Required skills

• SAP PP
• SAP PP/PI (including PP planning)
• SAP Manufacturing, preferably in an S/4 environment
• MES integration (Level 3 solutions)
• Agile development methods such as Kanban
• Knowledge of SAP QM and SAP MM (nice to have)
