DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & Azure Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, implement and manage Kubernetes‑based environments for micro‑services on Azure. The role focuses on delivering reliable, secure and observable cloud solutions for our retail and e‑commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate AKS clusters and implement service‑mesh architecture using Istio and OpenTelemetry.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Opsera and GitLab CI, and manage version control using GitLab and Bitbucket.
• Create and execute runbooks for sprint releases, including branch cutting, locking and change‑approval processes.
• Automate infrastructure as code using GitOps tools such as Helm, ArgoCD and Terraform.
• Package applications with Docker, Gradle/Maven and store artifacts in Nexus or JFrog.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Groovy and Bash, and manage Linux servers.
• Set up monitoring and alerting with Dynatrace, Prometheus and Grafana to ensure performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Strong understanding of the retail and e‑commerce domain.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business and IT strategies while adhering to architectural standards.
