DevOps Engineer

About the role

Amplio is seeking a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to own its cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production reliability. You will partner closely with backend and security teams to enhance scalability, observability, and platform stability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimize AWS‑based infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters (EKS or self‑managed).
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or equivalent.
• Configure secure components including IAM, VPCs, secrets management, and network security.
• Improve observability through monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Handle production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive reliability improvements.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency.
• Maintain backup, disaster‑recovery, and failover strategies.

Required profile

• Strong Linux fundamentals and system debugging skills.
• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Load Balancers).
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, load balancing).
