DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD (Bangalore)

About the role

Join Capgemini Engineering as a DevOps Engineer and help build scalable, reliable cloud‑native solutions. You will work with cross‑functional teams to automate the software delivery lifecycle and ensure high availability of critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP using IaC tools.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability with Prometheus, Grafana or ELK stack.
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams to improve release processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non‑production environments.
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure security, compliance and best practices in deployments.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain version control and branching strategies using Git.
• Support incident management, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Understanding of networking, security and system administration basics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
