Design Engineer – CSP Crushing Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our CSP Data and Individual Components team in Vadodara. You will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of crusher components and auxiliary equipment, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain crusher components, auxiliary equipment, and related data.
• Create and update product technical documentation supporting design responsibilities.
• Support aftermarket needs for customers and installed equipment.
• Develop hydraulic and lubrication systems for crushing equipment.
• Perform 3D modelling, drafting, drawing checks, and simple technical calculations.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers, including CSP Product Quality, Upgrades, and Solution Development teams.

Required profile

• B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5‑8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Commitment to safety regulations.

Required skills

• 3D modelling and drafting using NX.
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) – preferably Teamcenter.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (fabrication, machining, casting, forging, welding).
• Knowledge of assembly processes and GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO, IS, DIN, ASME, ANSI and European material standards.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, components and related standards.
• Understanding of material properties and standards for crushers.
