Deputy IT Product Owner – SAP EWM

About the role

We are seeking a Deputy IT Product Owner to lead our SAP EWM initiatives within Bosch's logistics domain. You will guide a team of consultants and developers, ensuring agile delivery of SAP R/3 and S/4 HANA solutions that support our warehouse and intra‑logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an experienced IT team in an agile environment, fostering continuous improvement.
• Define and communicate the logistics vision aligned with automotive business objectives and overall SAP architecture.
• Participate in process design, emphasizing technical feasibility, re‑usability, and SAP standard usage.
• Consult user departments and governance functions on I2D queries, managing dependencies across processes.
• Prioritize backlog items, identify constraints, and drive product lifecycle management from design to rollout and support.
• Collaborate with other product development teams and chief product owners to standardize solutions and resolve cross‑team conflicts.
• Define team composition, required competencies, and ensure appropriate staffing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse/intra‑logistics (WM/EWM) design, implementation or consulting.
• Proven track record leading expert SAP development teams.

Required skills

• Expertise in SAP R/3 and SAP S/4 HANA for logistics and intra‑logistics.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.
• Proficiency with Jira for agile project management.
• Certification in WM, EWM or TM is preferred.
