Department Manager

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Department Manager to lead one of our retail departments at our Vapi store. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining optimal product presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned department, including stock levels and visual merchandising.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and service standards.
• Monitor team performance, conduct training sessions, and address performance gaps.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and merchandising guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Proven planning and organisational skills to meet sales and productivity goals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Good understanding of inventory management, merchandising, and retail operations.
• Attention to detail and adherence to company standards.
• Retail management experience is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
