Data Engineer III – Global Data Team

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 6–10 years of hands‑on experience to join our Global Data team. You will design, develop, and optimise modern cloud‑based data platforms, lakehouse architectures, and distributed pipelines on Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, dbt, Python and SQL.
• Build and manage workflow orchestration with Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow.
• Implement modern lakehouse architectures and optimise data workloads for performance, reliability and cost.
• Contribute to data governance, observability, CI/CD, and AI‑powered data engineering capabilities.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python, SQL, dbt and Apache Airflow/Cloud Composer.
• Proficiency with Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage and GCP data services.
• Experience building data pipelines from APIs, databases and SaaS applications.
